POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
The Department of Sociology at the University of South Carolina invites applications for two tenure-track assistant
professor positions beginning Fall 2006. Specialty area is open, although preference will be given to candidates oriented
toward publishing theory-driven empirical research. We also hope to hire at least one person interested in teaching
graduate-level methods and statistics. Applications will be reviewed as they arrive, however those received after October
