POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Wayne State University. The Department of Sociology invites applications for one tenure track position to begin fall 2006.
Preference will be given to candidates who can contribute to one or more of departmental areas of concentration (deviance,
family, inequality, and medical) and teach theory or methods at the graduate level. A Ph.D. is expected at the time of
employment. Wayne State is a CARNEGIE DOCTORAL/RESEARCH EXTENSIVE INSTITUTION. The department
has strong links to the Institute of Gerontology, the School of Medicine, and other institutes and centers on campus. The
