POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
The UC Institute for Labor and Employment is pleased to announce two postdoctoral fellowship positions for 2004-05, one
housed at UCLA and another at UC Berkeley. This is a unique opportunity for recent Ph.D.s to pursue research on labor
and employment issues in an interdisciplinary setting.
ILE postdoctoral fellows are selected on a competitive basis and awarded an annual stipend of $46,000 (plus benefits)
together with a $3,000 research fund for the one-year program. They are free of teaching and other administrative duties,
but are expected to participate in ILE conferences and programs during the fellowship year. Applicants must have earned
a Ph.D. degree from an accredited university in the U.S. after January 2000 but no later than June 30, 2004 to be considered
for the 2004-2005 fellowship year. Applications must be postmarked by December 15, 2003. More information
