POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH IN
SOCIAL INEQUALITIES AND SOCIAL MOVEMENTS SEARCH
The Department of Sociology at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking to fill two tenure-stream appointments at the
Assistant Professor level, pending budgetary approval. The successful candidates will demonstrate excellence and promise
in both publication and instruction. Their research agendas will contribute to the department's focus on social inequalities
and social movements. They will enthusiastically embrace teaching and mentoring quantitative research at the undergraduate
and graduate levels.
