The Labor and Labor Movements Section is not only an intellectual and professional opportunity, but
also a chance to build bridges to the labor movement with implications for political practice. Help us organize. Send the
names of potential recruits and/or volunteer to make one-on-one contact. Here are the details: When you receive your American Sociological Association dues notice, you can join the Labor and Labor Movements Section by checking the box and paying the $5 dues (dues are $5 for both regular and student members). The Section is number 41, and is located on the form at the bottom of the list of sections. If you already sent your dues renewal form back to the ASA, you can still send a $5 check into the ASA to join the Labor and Labor Movements Section. If you are already an ASA member, you can go to the: ASA's Online Membership and Registration Services Adding the Labor and Labor Movements Section (#41) to your existing section memberships is a true bargain at $5 for students and $10 for other members. Since the Labor and Labor Movements Section is an integral part of the American Sociological Association, section membership requires membership in the Association as well.
